Crucial 2nd T20 to take place tomorrow

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The visiting lions were thrashed by a dominating performance by the Aussies in the first T20 in Adelaide last Sunday. Sri Lanka must win the 2nd T20 in order to keep the series alive.

It was a bad day at the office for the lions on Sunday. From winning the toss and deciding to field first and not being able to at least go past David Warner’s score, nothing more could have gone wrong on that day. But, Sri Lanka should not loose hope. They should look back at their performances in the Pakistan and start believing in themselves once again.

One key aspect they would look into is there bowling. Rajitha conceded the worst figures ever in the history of T20’s and our two wrist spinners failed to pick up enough wickets in the middle overs to create any sort of pressure. In the batsmen’s perspective, they were under immense pressure when they came on to bat but, some of there shot selection showed that they were struggling to assess the pace and bounce of the Aussie wickets.

However, the hosts will not be having the services of Mitchell Starc who will most likely to be replaced by the Tall Lanky Billy Stanlake. Apart from that, the Aussies will be looking to secure the series with another dominating performance with both bat and ball. The match will be played under lights and play is scheduled to begin at 1.40 SL time.
