[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ministry of Youth and Sports in association with the Sri Lanka Police and Lanka Sportreizen will be introducing a “Family Run Saturday” with the objective of promoting an exercise for the whole family.

It is expected that this initiative will create an interest in the society which requires physical exercise which is essential for a healthier life being engrossed in a busy life style although they do not spend more time on it. It is planned to hold this Event every Saturday commencing from
the 10th of April, 2021 on a 5 km measured course starting from the in close
proximity to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

 Vidya Mawatha
 Maitland Place
 Maitland Crescent
 Finish – Ministry of Youth & Sports – Philip Gunawardena Mawatha

There will no Registration for the Event. There will be few Medical and Feeding Points along the Route for assistance and the Route will be corned off from 06:00 to 08:00hrs. All of you are invited to take part in this Event, may be even by substituting your daily exercise module with this novel concept of “Family Run Saturday”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
