Sri Lanka Insurance General forges strategic partnership with Mercantile Cricket Association

Embarking on a new beginning, Sri Lanka Insurance General and the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) have forged a strategic partnership leveraging the strengths of both entities, offering distinctive collaborative benefits to MCA members.

At a press conference held recently to announce the partnership, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between Mahesh de Alwis, President, Mercantile Cricket Association, and Priyantha Perera, Chief Operating Officer of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited. In attendance were Mahesh Gamage, Assistant General Manager, Corporate Business and Marketing, Chaminda Gunasinghe, Deputy General Manager, Support Services and Lalith de Silva, Deputy General Manager, Head of Distribution, representing Sri Lanka Insurance General. Rohan Somawansa, General Secretary, and Hasitha Dassanayake, Chairman Sponsorship Committee, were present on behalf of MCA.

This is the first partnership of its kind, with Sri Lanka Insurance General offering MCA members a special motor insurance package with exclusive benefits and discounts. At the event, MCA presented 10 complementary MCA membership privilege cards to the staff of Sri Lanka Insurance General.

Commenting on the partnership, Priyantha Perera, Chief Operating Officer, Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited, stated, “We are delighted to enter into this pioneering partnership with MCA.
